The pools are accessible to everyone from birth to golden years. The zero-depth entry of the outdoor pool, as well as the entry ramp (wheelchair accessible) and steps designed into the indoor pool, will encourage all, regardless of age or physical capabilities.
Due to heavy attendance, admittance numbers will be issued prior to each public swim session.
Pool will be open for public swim hours June 21 until August 27, 2010 on the following days & times.

Fees are are charged for all persons entering during Recreation Swim hours whether they will be swimming or not.
POOL POLICIES
1. No cut-off jeans or pants of any kind (hemmed or not). All swimmers MUST wear regulation swimsuits. Spectators without swimsuits are not allowed in the water. No rental suits available.
2. Please shower before entering pool.
3. Please leave all personal flotation devices at home.
4. Children 6 yrs. & under MUST have an adult with them in the pool at all times.
• All swimmers 3 yrs. & under MUST wear an in-water diaper designed for
swimming regardless of toilet training status. Swimmers 3-5 yrs. of age must
wear an in water diaper if they are not toilet trained.
• All spectators must sit in designated areas.
• Special events or weather may cause a change in the posted schedule.
• The City of El Monte is not responsible for lost or stolen articles. Please leave all valuables at home. NO jewelry allowed inside the pool.
• Your compliance with all requests made by the Aquatic Center staff is greatly appreciated.
• Please keep all food and drink in designated areas.
• No Gum or Outside Food Allowed in the facility.
• A swim test is required to swim in the deep-water areas.
• Please walk at all times.
• Jump in feet first and facing forward only, please. No diving except from diving boards.
SLIDE POOL POLICIES
In addition to specific use guidelines given on site, the following will be strictly enforced:
• Maximum Operational Load: 1 person, 300 lbs.
• Swimmers fewer than 48 inches tall are not permitted on this ride.
• Eyeglasses must be securely affixed to riders with head straps.
• Swim wears with exposed zippers, buckles, rivets, or metal ornamentation are not permitted.
• CAUTION: For safety reasons, pregnant women and persons with heart conditions or back trouble should not ride this slide.
