ABC'S OF A SAFE SUMMER"
Saturday, July 7, 2007 - 11:45 a.m.
In conjunction with the American Red Cross, Southern California Municipal Athletic Federation and ABC Channel 7, the El Monte Aquatic Center will be hosting the "ABC's of a Safe Summer" program with a Water Safety Presentation on Saturday, July 7 at 11:45 a.m. The 30- minute presentation will discuss water safety around home pools and aquatic areas as well as a demonstration of some basic rescue techniques that attendees can try.
Those that attend and participate will be given a voucher for a FREE admission to a public swim period or come in for FREE on JULY 7th at the Aquatic Center.
Those that attended enjoyed the presentation and a free session of public swim.
2006 SCMAF-SAN GABRIEL VALLEY CHAMPIONSHIPS RESULTS
The SCMAF-San Gabriel Valley Championship meet was held at the El Monta Aquatic Center on Saturday, July 29, 2006. Nearly 3,000 people were in attendance as over 760 swimmers competed from 16 teams competed for medals and qualifying spots for the SCMAF Finals on August 19 in Riverside. Good Luck to those qualifiers and congratulations to all of the swimmers on your outsanding performances. Here are the results ( ) .
